Here we go again!!!

Today we have another assassination attempt on President Donald Trump’s life. Fortunately, no shots were fired by the assassin, but by only the Secret Service agent who spotted the assassin’s rifle muzzle sticking through a chain link fence. Attempt ended!!!

Then you have the leader of the evil communist (democrat) party, Hakeem Jeffries, stating on X one hour later this: “Extreme MAGA Republicans are the party of a national abortion ban and Trump’s Project 2025. We must stop them. 3:30 PM · Sep 15, 2024” (Emphasis added.) It has already been proven a lie about President Trump having anything to do with this so called “Project 2025”. So, this moron continues to push that lie. Then he pushes another lie in saying they are the party of a “national abortion ban” when President Trump has stated countless times that he is not in favor of that. He has said that he is open to abortion in cases of incest, rape, and the health of the mother. So that idiot, Jeffries, is pushing another lie.

These people that are members of and are supporters of the “Democrat” party are the evilest, mentally ill individuals out there. I don’t know how anyone can vote for someone who identifies as a “Democrat”. If you do, you support the entire platform that they stand for. Their platform is one of platitudes with no specifics. After they have been elected, when it does boil down to specifics, it ends up doing so much more harm to the people and ends up enriching those in power and granting them perpetual power, i.e. communism/fascism/oligarchy. If you think I am lying or crazy, read your history!!

The “Democrats” are the masters of spreading lies!! Everything, and I mean everything that they state as fact is a lie. There may be a sliver of truth to it to give it a little credence to get the ball rolling, but the rest will be all lies and feelings. Hence, the stated lies by Hakeem Jeffries on X right after the assassination attempt. That dumb jerk couldn’t wait to take the opportunity to politicize what had just happened. He jumped on that immediately. Totally disgusting and unnecessary but not surprising from these lowlifes.

I have had enough of all this stupid bullshit that is going on!! When I hear a “Democrat” accuse anyone who does not fall in line with the “Democrat” platform of being a domestic terrorist, a Nazi, a fascist, a traitor, or any other derogatory name, I get so aggravated. It is purely projection of what they are doing and getting away with because you have the mass media, actors, athletes, educators, corporate leaders, and those that have wealth all in support of what they are doing.

We are truly in a world of good versus evil. I firmly believe that. Right now, evil is in charge and leading the way. My Christianity, upbringing, common sense, education, and wisdom tells me that. I know what we need to do to stop this. So do most of those people in my life. It is time that we stick together and do what is needed to be done to make sure that good defeats evil!!

I don’t know why, but I have sat here and watched this absolute disgusting mess of nothing but a smoke blowing show that is being called the Democratic National Convention.

I am here to tell you, I have heard this same BS from the democrats, almost verbatim, for years! Their message has no policy or explanation in how they are going to accomplish anything! Just a bunch of narcissistic bloviating about how they are so morally superior; how they are so truthful and honest; how they are so diverse, inclusive and believe in equality for all; how they are so civil and non-violent; how they are for a woman’s right to choose and reproductive rights; how they stand up for freedom and not socialism or communism; how they firmly believe in democracy and freedom to choose; how they will enforce law and order, because no one is above the law; how they are going to save the planet from climate change; and, how they believe in peace and tranquility. It is nothing but one thing: PROPAGANDA!!! Because, if anyone is truly observant, they can see that everything, and I do mean everything, that they believe is a huge lie!! (Well, except for the woman’s right to choose one.) They believe in the complete opposite. Their actions speak louder than their words!

What baffles me is that I have (had) friends that vote for these morons because they talk the talk. They speak of those that are “conservative” as if they are evil and want to do them harm or want them dead. They don’t want to believe that nothing is farther from the truth. They claim they want to be treated equally, and they are. Not one true conservative cares about their “identity” or whatever. Not until they make it an issue. And generally, it is because they are overly sensitive to whatever that day and complain that someone did something that they didn’t like. Then, it is all blown out of proportion, there are accusations of this and that, there is an investigation, maybe there are some kind of charges filed, then someone is disciplined, fired, or imprisoned. Most of the time, if they had just become the bigger person and just “let it go”, things wouldn’t be as insane as they are now.

I have watched the conventions of both parties since I was about to start my freshman year in high school. That was the year that Ronald Reagan first ran for President of the United States against incumbent President Jimmy Carter.

I have made it my mission to watch both conventions to stay informed. If you don’t know what both sides are saying, how can you make an informed choice?

Unfortunately, in today’s world, informed choice is something that has gone the way of the dodo bird. A lot of that is due to the extremely liberal bias of the media, which has been that way since the time I started to watch the conventions. I remember when I used to deliver the newspaper, the one I delivered was considered the “conservative” voice. Everything else was liberally biased. It was, and still is, very difficult to get the conservative view of anything newsworthy because the sources are very limited. In fact, I lost my paper route due to that newspaper shutting down.

I will just say this. My father was a die-hard lifelong democrat. He was a lifelong auto worker union member and a very strong believer in unions. He and I would have some very intense debates about politics and unions, and I do mean intense. He would never vote for a republican if his life depended on it. He believed wholeheartedly that the democrats were for the working man. That is, until President Donald J. Trump.

Out of the blue, my Dad came up to me and said, “You know, son, I can never vote for another democrat for the rest of my life.” I was beyond stunned. I didn’t even know what to say. Finally, I asked my Dad why. He said that with President Trump in office, he has seen things actually get done. He’s watched him help the middle-class and the working man, more than any democrat ever has. He said he can tell that President Trump actually cares about the people of this country because of what he gave up to become President.

I couldn’t agree more!!!

The “democracy saving” communists/socialists, otherwise known as the Democratic Party, have just committed a coup against a duly elected nominee, by the people, for President of the United States. They just threw out 14 million votes and chose someone who got no votes. Sounds like something I used to read about coming from China, Cuba, the Soviet Union, or Nazi Germany, to name a few. It sure doesn’t sound democratic to me. Yet these same morons accuse the Republicans of being that way. I have yet to see the Republicans do or attempt to do any of this. Oh, I forgot, they will try to say the “insurrection” of January 6^th was an attempt to overthrow the government. Try again. The facts don’t come close to bearing that out in any way. But propaganda and lies will every time.

They forcefully remove him from the ballot by telling him he either does it voluntarily or they will invoke the 25^th Amendment against him due to his cognitive decline. So, he does by posting a letter on social media that is not on any kind of official letterhead, and it does not contain his signature. Of course this is all done hush, hush, wink, wink, so no one will ever know the details of what really went on.

They claim it was “his” decision. This from a man that up until just four days before was staunch in stating he was in this election for the long haul. Heck, even those around him continued to straight out lie and say that his cognitive ability was “just fine” and that he was “sharp as a tack”. Even though everyone who has ever had a relative that went through cognitive decline knew that this President was going through just that. It doesn’t take a medical diagnosis to understand that one.

The Democrats are the biggest hypocrites there are. They claim to be democracy savers and then do the complete opposite to nominate their candidate for President.

They claim to be the most transparent in governing, but when they are brought before congressional committees for some kind of testimony, all you hear is, “I’ll have to get back to you on that.”, “You need to talk to so and so about that.”, “I don’t have that in front of me.”, or “I can’t comment on that because of whatever.” Really?

You can bet now that the Democrats have pulled this one off, it will happen again and again. The precedent has been set and there are no consequences. I could guarantee you if the Republicans tried this, there would be “peaceful protests” or riots in the streets, the media would be in an uproar, as well as every Democrat in office. There is such a double standard, and the hypocrisy is real.

This nation is now 248 years old! Just two years away from getting to that historic 250 number.

I remember all the excitement and preparation that was going on and went into getting ready to celebrate the nation’s 200th birthday in 1976.

The Vietnam War was over and all of a sudden, people were beginning to feel patriotic about this nation again. There were Betsy Ross flags everywhere. Another flag that was flying was the Bennington flag or the “Fillmore” flag, depending on which historical account is accurate. Everything seemed to revolve around the Bicentennial. I do mean everything!

I know a half-century celebration isn’t anywhere close as important as a centennial, but 250 years is an accomplishment in and of itself and should have some kind of celebration.

Now, here comes the part where facts and truth will fire off those that deny the aforementioned.

Unfortunately, the current federal government of the United States is completely corrupt! Every single bit of it!

I swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. This government is 100% an enemy of the Constitution of the United States and its people.

For about 200 years, most of the wording of the Constitution was accepted as intended. Then the socialists/communists finally infiltrated the education system in its entirety as well as being elected to the positions necessary in local politics to start effecting the changes they needed to make. From then on, it went on to the state and federal levels and everything started its downhill roll, and it has been picking up speed ever since.

Now, it has gotten so bad, they have weaponized law enforcement to go after those who don’t think the same as they do. They prosecute them for some very obscure law that hasn’t been prosecuted ever or very rarely. Then there have been prosecutions for laws that were stretched into a new law that all of a sudden became a felony that wasn’t even passed by any legislature. Sounds like something the Bolsheviks or the Chinese Communist Party might do.

Plus, it seems that everything has to be adjudicated in court now. Everyone is suing each other because they don’t like the result of this or that. Because of that, absolutely nothing gets resolved. Each side has to take everything to the Supreme Court for resolution, which we know doesn’t work because they are severely limited in the number of cases it can hear.

Which now brings me to this, and it is the saddest point. The world’s Greatest Generation is about to be no more. Every minute their numbers diminish greatly because of their age. The world is still fairly free from major war because of their supreme sacrifice in World War II. However, every time a World War II veteran is interviewed on TV, he always says that this is not the country he fought for. He is absolutely right!

It was 1989, that was when I observed the change. That was the year President George H.W. Bush took office. I was in the Navy and as soon as he was sworn into office, he began dismantling the Navy and the rest of the military that President Ronald Reagan had just worked so hard to build up. It was then that I knew that something was up, and it didn’t feel right.

Now, I truly fear for this nation. I fear that the Independence that was fought for, in which so many made the ultimate sacrifice for said Independence, is gone and will need to be fought for again in the very near future. I truly pray that it is not the case, but history says that will not be true.

My depression has taken hold over me in a way I have never known. I am experiencing so many different feelings all at the same time and I can’t tell the difference between any of them. My mind is telling me it is in a blender, and it is just being mixed all up.

There are thoughts of my whole life going through my mind. My family. My childhood. Past friends. Past girlfriends. Past life events. Past travels. Current events. Current friends. Current failures. Past failures. People I want to talk to. People I wish I could talk to. Places I want to be. The sadness. The joy. The pain. The recovery. I want to run. I want to cry. I want to hide.

Then there are thoughts of how I’m a failure. If I can recover. If I can ever be good enough. Why can’t I be good enough? Why am I making such bad decisions all of a sudden? What has happened to me? What is my purpose? Why am I still here? Why have I survived for more than 20 years after a stroke? For what reason? What am I supposed to do? Why can’t I be a good lover? Why can’t I be a good brother? Why can’t I be a good friend? How do I be a good uncle? I can’t keep track of nor do I have any answers to any questions!

My head feels like it is about to explode with all of the pressure inside. It hurts so bad! But is it truly a physical pain? Or is it a mind trick to make me think so?

Yes…I am taking the “necessary” anti-depressants to “help” me stay on the right track. But, sometimes, the depression breaks through the medications. There is nothing that can be done about that.

Today is a bad day.

The road to hell is paid with good intentions. I heard that phrase so many times throughout my young life. I continue to hear it in my head in my adult life when I try to do something I feel is a good idea and then it falls apart. Much like starting this website.

I had the best of intentions in starting it. Just talking about everyday topics and putting thoughts out there. How hard could that be? Just a few minutes each day? Well, for those of you that were so kind to follow, it has become a monumental task!!

First, my health has crashed. I have spent so much time in hospitals, doctor’s offices, surgeries, physical therapy, tests and treatments, that I am burned out from it! I didn’t think it was possible to get burned out from that, but here we are. Things are somewhat stable, but the appointments have not slowed down. The worst part of it all is it is not focused on just one system, it on numerous systems. So, being poked and prodded everywhere has not been fun or comfortable!

I have been issued so many medical devices, I don’t even know where to begin. I literally have books I need to read so I can operate this stuff. I have an implant in me that has two devices that control it. There are six manuals I have to read to learn to operate it so I can tell other doctors what to do if they need to do tests and procedures on me. I have to carry these controllers all the time in case something happens to me. It’s like carrying three cell phones!!

Then there is family heath issues. My poor wife is recovering from extensive shoulder surgery. I feel so sorry for her. Her surgeon was shocked at how bad it was. Her rotator cuff was completely torn and the muscle receded two centimeters. They had to re-anchor the muscle and reconnect it. Then clean up spurring and arthritis. She is now going through physical therapy and she is in a lot of pain. She is a real trooper and hanging in there.

In addition to that for her, she is having to deal with the passing of her Mom. That in itself has been a source of incredible stress for her. As anyone who has lost a parent knows, it is extremely difficult knowing that the one who raised you and provided for you is no longer around to talk to.

It is unbelievable to me that we are already in to 2024!

To those that know me, I know I am not good at calling or visiting. It goes back to my childhood. I dealt with a lot of rejection. Plus, I was bullied relentlessly. So, I stayed to myself and that has carried over into my adult life. Believe me, if I don’t call or visit, it isn’t a sign that I don’t care, it is purely due to what I went through in my childhood.

On that note, I will say that I am not giving up on trying to work on this website. I feel too strongly about just talking about life.
